Erin Lukas is the Deputy Beauty Editor at TZR, where she oversees the site’s beauty vertical, with a focus on features and profiles.
Prior to TZR, Erin was the Beauty Editor at InStyle. In this role, she managed news, franchises, interviewed countless celebrities, and wrote features for content packages and digital issues. She also conceptualized the brand’s first special digital issue centered on menopause, including writing and beauty directing the cover story starring Naomi Watts. During her time at InStyle, her work was part of a larger package that earned the brand Webby Honors in 2022 for Best Website and honorable mention for Best Consumer Website at the 2021 Eddie & Ozzy Awards.
Erin’s writing has also appeared in a number of publications, including NYLON, Teen Vogue, Into The Gloss, FASHION, and more. In addition to her bylines, she’s also been tapped as an expert in articles for Popsugar, The Daily Beast, and Coveteur, and has done branded content for Kiehl’s and FEKKAI.
She holds degrees in creative writing from the University of Windsor, publishing from Centennial College, and advertising and marketing communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
She is currently based in Brooklyn, where she lives in an apartment with too many books, shoes, and skin care products. When she’s offline, she’s traipsing through the borough shopping for vintage and antique home decor.
